Mountains…Natural Beauty!
I have spent 2 weeks in the mountains this summer. There is so much natural beauty there… I have noticed as you get older you start to enjoy all the natural beauty even more!

I took quick drying acrylic paints and oil pastels with me. I often use oil pastels over acrylics to add some beautiful lines and color accents where required..
So all the images in this post are plein air sketches done there, in the mountains at the different time of the day and weather… This one is a late afternoon sunny moment.
The beautiful pink clouds below - are moments of sunset and its warm reflections on the sky and mountain tops.

I have noticed a beautiful time between 7-8pm in the mountains. It is a miracle hour when evening colours suddenly become tranquil blue.
