Best 6 Of My 25 Minis

This blog post is about my 25 Days of Advent Mini Paintings and best 6 of them…

I have decided to do a mini self-portrait for the last one of 25 paintings .

All this busy prior Xmas week my eye was catching the different reflections of me in the mirrow - sometimes very tired, sometimes sleepy, sometimes in a high mood..

Life is so quick. Who knows how we all will look like next crazy year?:) So now I have this “historical” mini portrait capturing me at the end of 2020!

P.S.: There probably lots! of mistakes in my portrait as I haven’t done any since I have graduated from the art college. But it is - what it is, and I recognize myself in it.

Like this one - it was inspired by the great Chrismas Eve sky, which I watched from my window. Captured in this quick oil sketch righ on December 24th.

Then I did a mini series of sea shells, which are also symbolic for me. I find their beautiful natural forms very calming and relaxing.

This one is my favourite of the shells’ series.
