Traveling Alone vs Traveling Together

To be honest I like both!

For me, traveling alone is the best way to restore peace of mind.

While traveling alone you are free to enjoy and experience a new place without worrying about other people’s preferences/wishes and plans…

You don’t have to worry that your desire to visit “this and that” and stay a little bit longer “there” - might be boring for other people.

But most important - while alone you have time to reflect and understand what really matters..

For traveling alone I prefer Nature Parks, Mountain Hiking Trails, forrests and even seaside.

But you probably know this feeling when at some point when you really enjoy something in your journey - you just can not live the moments of happiness without sharing them with someone…

When I travel to the countries with a very different culture, like India, Thailand, Indonesia, Japan and even Portugal - I enjoy sharing such a trip with friend(s). Because each time it is a real adventure :)

I have read once that “Sometimes the most ordinary things could be made extraordinary simply by doing them with the right people.”

This is so exactly right!

Have you noticed that every time we travel we experience not only Outer Journey but also the Inner Journey?

The Outer one shows us new places and provide new physical experience. The Inner one lets us know ourselves better, our behavior under different circumstances, it influences our inner world and perspective on life…

So some destinations are just perfect for traveling alone and some special ones are really good for sharing with a friend*.

*Usually ONE friend is more than enough! :))
